As you can see June likes to cuddle with Eliza. She even sleeps with her at night.

Johnny is laying in front, June is in back with her head up.

Mason's is 1!!

When Mason realized everyone was looking at him while we were singing "Happy Birthday" he tried to hide.

Then he tried to grab the candle or the cake, whichever he could get.

He wasn't quite sure what to do with the cake.

So Dad helped him.

And he go the hang of it.

Eliza was trying to help Mason get ready fo Christmas.

He liked to church clothes Grammy sent him.
And the rocking horse from the family.

Stuff I missed!

I haven't been able to blog in awhile because Jason takes the computer to school and when he's home he is using it to study, so here are a few of the things I have missed in the past month and a half.

Alex played his first soccer season, with his best friend Kaydence, and he loved it.

This is where Mason stands while I make dinner.

Playing in the fall leaves!! It is the first time we've lived somewhere that we've had enough leaves to play in. The kids loved it!!

Halloween!! A skeleton, a duck, and Bumblebee!

Week of Firsts

Mason got his first haircut/trim and his first tooth in the same week. I have to say the haircut was a lot less painful then the tooth though. I was suprised how still he sat. I just set him on the kitchen counter and let him play with a comb and the spray bottle. He was pretty good for a ten month old. I wasn't able to get a picture of the tooth. Unless he smiles really big you can't see it.

Mason! 9 months old!

Mason is like a little monkey, he uses his feet like hands. It is so funny.

As soon as I snapped the picture, he headed straight for the camera.

Mason loves the swings. You can't see it, but he kicks his legs everytime he laughs.

The Magic House

Eliza and Alex got free tickets to the Magic House for completing the summer reading program. The kids loved it. It is like a huge playground. We were there for two hours and I think we saw about half of it. Here are the highlights.
Alex had alot of un climbing the beanstalk. He climbed it twice from top to bottom twice ( it is 3 stories tall) He has asked us to tell the story of Jack and the Beanstalk several times since then.

Mason was just along for the ride like usual.
Dressing up!

Solving a mystery!

Playing in the water.

1st Grade Here I Come!!

This is a picture of Eliza before heading off to her 1st day of 1st grade. She has been in school for a week now and she loves it. She was so excited and has already made new friends. We miss her during the day while she is gone, but it is good for me to have time with the boys!

Playing, Climbing, and Dressing Up

When Jason and I came here two years ago to check out the area we went to this really cool park that had water squirting out of the ground. The other day we took the kids and the water was broken, so it only came on every 10-20 minutes for about 30 secounds. Everytime the water came on all the kids would scream and run towards the water.
This is Alex as the water was turning off.

Kaydence (Alex's friend) actually got to run though the water.

This is what they did while they waited for the water to turn on.

Mason learned to pull himself up on the side of his crib. The problem is once he got up he couldn't get down so he would just sit there and cry, so we lowered the crib.
And this was the first thing I found.
They are getting excited for Halloween.
(Eliza informed me she has to hold her legs like that or her knee pads will fall down)

Eliza is great!!

While I was looking through the pictures I found this series that Eliza took of herself. It made me laugh, so I thought I would share it.

A Little Bit of Everything!

Well I am behind. We have been doing so many things in the past few weeks and I haven't taken the time to post anything. Here are a few of them.
This is at the butterfly house. When the butterfly landed on Eliza's hand she yelled "Get it off! Get it off!" Being the great mom that I am I said "It's o.k. It won't hurt you let me get a picture".

Trevor holding Mason. It looks so peaceful.

We finally visited the Arch. This is a picture I took from the car after I gave Jason the wrong directions and we were headed back to exit we were suppose to take. Traffic was pretty slow, so I was able to get a pretty good picture.
The kids liked it, too

We went to the the chesterfield mall to watch fireworks for the 4th of July. The show was really cool and we had a lot of fun.

Eliza and Alex dancing to the music playing before the fireworks show.

More Zoo!!

So we went to the Zoo again. This time with Trevor and we saw some new things this time too.

I love Eliza. She gets so excited about things.

Leaf Cutter Ants. They are so cool.
It is nice to have some shoulders to ride on.
Lunch break.
The hippo tank. The hippos were hard to see, but you sure could see the fish.

The tunnel with the snake eggs.

We come all the way to the zoo just to play in the sprinklers.

Mason is on the Move

About two weeks ago Mason started scooting all around the living room. Most babies play while sitting in the entertainer but Mason likes to play underneath it.
He just laid down to watch the movie.
